“David captured our day in the most magical and authentic way. From the moment he arrived during the wedding morning prep, he made everyone feel completely relaxed. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more!” Natasha & Sam
Greater Manchester is blessed with many of the country's finest wedding venues. I’m David Conway and I’m an experienced wedding photographer who has shot at many of Greater Manchester's premier venues.
Greater Manchester is the ideal location for a wedding photographer in the North West of England. You want your special day to be one you will never forget. You want the perfect wedding photographer to capture all of your best memories. You can have everything you want in one perfect location.
My name is David Conway, and I am a well-known Greater Manchester wedding photographer. I offer a selection of wedding photography packages to ensure that my bride and groom get the wedding photos they want to tell the day's story. I look for the real moments. The natural moments stand out when full of emotional smiles and happy tears. My style of photography is simple. My relaxed approach allows me to become part of the scenery and capture the hidden moments that other wedding photographers may miss.
I've been a wedding photographer for more than 14 years, and I take both relaxed, professional photos of the day's events and beautiful, modern photos of the couple. The bride and groom can spend time together and take unique photos. My style is natural and unposed, and I rarely tell people where to stand or how to pose themselves. This leads to beautiful, natural wedding photos.
I have won many wedding industry awards, including The Guild of Photographers 2021 International Wedding Photographer of the Year Award and The Guild of Photographers 2021 Wedding Image of the Year Award. While these awards are irreplaceable to me, my greatest joy comes from seeing the faces of newlyweds who are viewing their wedding photographs for the first time.
Although the term Greater Manchester came into use a few decades ago, the area was inhabited as early as the Iron Age. The area has been occupied by Roman settlements as well as German-speaking tribes. During the Industrial Revolution in the late 1800s, the area began to change in terms of both domestic life and the type of available occupations.Over the centuries, as the area evolved and the population continued to increase, many manor houses, cathedrals, industrial areas, and cottage homes began to appear. The result is an area full of opportunities a contemporary wedding photographer like myself can use to your advantage.
Greater Manchester wedding venues come in many different forms. One wedding venue may offer outdoor areas for garden weddings. Other wedding venues may follow a more rustic theme.

Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.

Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
