“Pre wedding communication was fab! Everyone commented on how amazing David was at the wedding. The photos are truly breathtaking and made us feel like we could be in a magazine! If I were to describe David in three words, it would be easy, Everything we wanted” Beth & Adam
Delamere Manor, an acclaimed venue, specializes in hosting exclusive weddings and events. Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Cheshire, Delamere Manor assures a captivating experience, turning your special day into an unforgettable, timeless memory.
I am David Conway, an award-winning Cheshire wedding photographer. I've been doing wedding photography for more than 14 years, and I take both relaxed, professional photos of the day's events and beautiful, modern photos of the couple. The bride and groom can spend time together and take unique photos. My style is natural and unposed, and I rarely tell people where to stand or how to pose themselves. This leads to beautiful, natural wedding photos.
This distinctive, award-winning wedding venue is situated amidst over 100 acres of picturesque Cheshire countryside. Conveniently positioned with easy accessibility to Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, and North Wales, Delamere Manor is the perfect choice for those seeking a unique and enchanting setting for their celebrations.
You want your wedding day to be a truly memorable celebration. As an Cheshire wedding photographer, I highly recommend Delamere Manor if you want a stunning Georgian House in the Cheshire countryside.
My relaxed documentary-style photography perfectly complements the quiet, peaceful environment. The panoramic countryside views make excellent backdrops for your wedding photos. The whole place has a romantic feel and gives you a chance to have the wedding you've always wanted, like in a fairy tale.
Delamere Manor has a rich history dating back to 1784. It was originally known as Delamere Lodge and later renamed Delamere House. Built for the Wilbraham family, the mansion underwent various ownership changes and transformations. In 1939, it was rebuilt as Delamere Manor by George Hugh de Vernon Wilbraham after the original building's demolition in 1930.
During World War II, the manor and its grounds served as a military base, accommodating British and US soldiers, along with Polish families. In 1962, the Wilbrahams' two-century ownership ended, marking the beginning of a new era under Mr E. Graham-Wood. The grounds also housed Delamere Manor Fly Fishers' Club for 40 years.
In 1995, Gary Barlow, a former member of Take That, purchased the estate, turning it into a celebrity hotspot with a recording studio.
After a decade, Barlow put Delamere Manor on the market. The property eventually came under the ownership of Michelle Stubbs, who transformed it into a licensed wedding venue in 2015. The extensive renovations included landscaping the grounds, making it an enchanting setting for weddings, with many celebrities, including Jacqueline Jossa and Samia Ghadie, choosing Delamere Manor for their special day.
Delamere Manor wedding photography is beautiful for many reasons. From the modern renovations to the old rustic feel of the country setting, my photos tell a wedding story that transcends time. The luxury and style of the venue are made even better by the timeless beauty of nature.

Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.

No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
