“David captured our day in the most magical and authentic way. From the moment he arrived during the wedding morning prep, he made everyone feel completely relaxed. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more!” Natasha & Sam
Cheshire is blessed with many of the country's finest wedding venues. I’m David Conway and I’m an experienced wedding photographer who has shot at many of Cheshire’s premier wedding venues.
Cheshire is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK. Every wedding venue has unique aspects that allow for exceptional wedding photography. Cheshire wedding photography allows me to explore my unique style. I blend documentary and contemporary photography to provide my bride and groom with many different shots that are both natural and spontaneous. In England, every county has unique characteristics, and Cheshire is no different.
Your wedding day is one you will remember for the rest of your life. You can't just choose a Cheshire wedding photographer and hope for the best. Do your research first. My name is David Conway, and I love what I do. I can be very creative and love to try new shots that will capture the essence of your special day. Wedding photography isn't the same as portrait photography. A photographer must have a passion for capturing emotions and special moments.
If you have looked at my gallery or read my blog, you know I am easy going and absolutely love what I do. You want a creative wedding photographer with exceptional storytelling skills to capture the excitement you will experience during your wedding day. I take pride in being able to participate in a day that holds so much importance in your life. It is my honour and pleasure to tell the story of your journey that leads up to your wedding.
I have won many wedding industry awards, including The Guild of Photographers 2021 International Wedding Photographer of the Year Award and The Guild of Photographers 2021 Wedding Image of the Year Award. While these awards are irreplaceable to me, my greatest joy comes from seeing the faces of newlyweds who are viewing their wedding photographs for the first time.

Cheshire is located in North West England and is full of small villages and scenic views from almost every angle. Chester and Manchester, for example, are full of historical buildings that are ideal for elopement weddings or engagement photos. Throughout Europe, the UK is known for its stunning countryside views, quaint villages, and historical estates and manor houses. From North Wales to Lancashire, I love finding new wedding venues to explore.

Nunsmere Hall is an imposing 1900’s building with spectacular 100 acre gardens and a purpose built grand marquee for the wedding breakfast and evening party of anything up to 400 guests. This is a grand venue for an opulent wedding.
Combermere Abbey at it’s gardens make for a spectacular venue for your wedding celebrations. The Keepers Cottage gives the bride a gorgeous and private setting for the bridal prep in the morning. Then there is the option of an outdoor ceremony amongst the beautiful walled gardens or in the Edwardian Glass House built around a tree centre piece. And the garden maze makes a memorable addition to the wedding.

Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.

Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
