“Pre wedding communication was fab! Everyone commented on how amazing David was at the wedding. The photos are truly breathtaking and made us feel like we could be in a magazine! If I were to describe David in three words, it would be easy, Everything we wanted” Beth & Adam

Throughout the day, I will be able to get pictures of the wedding breakfast and the evening entertainment.
Your wedding reception will be where most of the festivities take place. From the first dance to the last, I will be working to catch the raw emotions and pure joy that all of your friends and family will be sharing with each other. Your first glass of champagne as husband and wife will be one of the highlights of your wedding album. As newlyweds, your journey is just beginning. It's up to you to enjoy every moment!
Cheshire is located in North West England and is full of small villages and scenic views from almost every angle. Chester and Manchester, for example, are full of historical buildings that are ideal for elopement weddings or engagement photos. Throughout Europe, the UK is known for its stunning countryside views, quaint villages, and historical estates and manor houses. From North Wales to Lancashire, I love finding new wedding venues to explore.
Owen House Wedding Barn is a wedding venue like no other. The Beauty Shed is available for all of the bridal preparations. For the groom and groomsmen, the Baa-BER Shed will make sure they look their best. A table football game is included in the barber shed for the guys to enjoy. The civil ceremony room easily seats 150, while the reception area seats 190. There is even a secret breakout room where people can slip away for a little quiet time.
Owen House also has something most other wedding venues in Manchester lack. It has a shooting gallery that is every photographer's dream! Multiple backdrops, plants, and props are available in a photographic space that we can use to create fantastic wedding photographs. In addition to the spontaneous and wonderfully unique candid photos, we will also have the option to create stylish portraits.
Owen House Wedding Barn was made into a rustic wedding venue in 2013. The entire farm is now a family-friendly exclusive-use venue. Each building and shed serves a unique purpose. As a fully functioning farm, you have access to all the nostalgia and tradition that a country wedding brings. A rural setting is perfect for down-to-earth couples who enjoy the simpler things in life.
The best wedding photography starts with the perfect backdrops and a few of your favourite people. Having your wedding ceremony in a beautiful old barn can make for very unique pictures. The fact that the farm is in operation at all times means you will always have something going on around you. The sounds of the farm and laughing children are everywhere. If you are having a drinks reception, add the tinkling of champagne glasses to the menagerie of sounds.
Colshaw Hall wedding photography by David, will capture those special moments and tell your fairy tale story in images. Spending your wedding day at Colshaw Hall is like stepping back in time. Luxury and splendour await you as you walk through the magnolia garden. The courtyard cottages and main house are ideal settings for what may be your favourite images.
With my documentary style of photography, I can capture the full range of emotions a couple can experience on their big day. Cheshire offers many locations and venues that are excellent backdrops for great photos. Some of my most iconic wedding photos are captured at historic manor houses and castles throughout the area. One of the unique factors is the diversity that Cheshire has to offer. Gorgeous abbeys to luxury estates offer beautiful settings that create any type of setting you can imagine in this area of the UK.

Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.

Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
