Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography is the perfect venue if you are looking for that something a little extra special. An imposing 19th Century Castle can be the perfect backdrop to a truly romantic scene. Set in the woodlands in Tarporley, Cheshire, the castle in approached through the Gatehouse Lodge and up a long winding driveway through the trees. If a castle wedding is something you have always dreaded of then this venue will definitely not disappoint!!
The Castle
The 19th century Medieval Castle is an imposing building, with the castle walls circling a stunning lawned area at in front of the main building. Inside there is the opulence of The Great Hall with stain glassed windows and magnificent vaulted ceilings. For the wedding breakfast is the grand Hexagonal Room with the stunning stone walls and large fire place. Down some winding Castle corridors and spiral stairs you can reach the incredibly romantic circular wine cellar and the Castle also boasts it’s own Chapel, perfect for your wedding ceremony. To walk around the castle is a little like walking back in time, but the castle has been kept in stunning conditioning meaning you still feel comfortable in the ancient surroundings. With my knowledge of Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography having shot weddings here before, I have intimate knowledge of the venue and all the best areas to create stunning images of your wedding day. You can trust me at Peckforton Castle thanks to my previous experiences.

The Grounds
Outside is a beautiful grass lawn with mature trees and the occasional Peacock or two. It is surrounded by the castle walls and is a great setting for reception drinks, and venturing a little further you can find the Gateway into the Castle, an imposing archway that allows for some stunning photographs of the bride and groom too. Some many stunning areas for your Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography.
Birds At Peckforton Castle
As well as the occasional peacock or two, there is also the option of having a trained falconry expert allow you, as the bride and groom, to see a bird of prey up close and personally, an extra dimension to your wedding day celebrations. Again, I have th experience of shooting these stunning birds at Peckforton Castle and can be trusted to create stunning images to always remind you of the wonderful memories of your special day.
