“Pre wedding communication was fab! Everyone commented on how amazing David was at the wedding. The photos are truly breathtaking and made us feel like we could be in a magazine! If I were to describe David in three words, it would be easy, Everything we wanted” Beth & Adam

Built in 1874 as the residence for Lindley mill owner James Nield Sykes, 1 Lidget Street stands as one of Huddersfield's most historic buildings. This classic Georgian Manor boasts a stunning stone facade tucked behind imposing gates with a sweeping drive and water feature. In 1902, Sykes enlisted the renowned architect Edgar Wood to construct the Lindley Clock Tower, a monumental structure standing at 83 feet tall.
The clock tower, showcasing Expressionist style with Art Nouveau details, served the practical purpose of ensuring mill workers arrived punctually. By 1910, with the Clock Tower as Wood's last commission for Sykes, the residence and tower were woven into the fabric of Huddersfield's rich heritage. After falling into disrepair by 2016, Sara Presley, the current owner of Manor House, undertook a passionate restoration project, revitalizing the faded glory of this Georgian mansion. Today, 1 Lidget Street stands as a testament to its historical significance, sensitively restored to honor the architectural wonders and the legacy of James Nield Sykes.
Lindley is located in the North of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, with close links to the M62. It is one of the regions premier wedding venues thanks to it’s eye for detail, friendly staff and wonderful surroundings.
With my documentary style of photography, I can capture the full range of emotions a couple can experience on their big day.
West Yorkshire offers many locations and venues that are excellent backdrops for great photos. Some of my most iconic wedding photos are captured at historic manor houses and castles throughout the area. One of the unique factors is the diversity that West Yorkshire has to offer. Gorgeous abbeys to luxury estates offer beautiful settings that create any type of setting you can imagine in this area of the UK.

Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.

No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
