Hazlewood Castle is a stunning luxury wedding venue set in 77 acres of gardens and woodlands. Set in idyllic country side in near the market town of Tadcaster between Leeds and York. Approaching Hazlewood Castle through the woodlands you get a real sense of granduer and romance as you see it for the first time.
I am slightly biased when it comes to this venue as the Castle is where I got married in 2010, but it is such a charming venue. If you are still looking for somewhere to get married I’d urge you to go and have a look because Hazlewood as a venue is perfect for wedding days. The venue is grand, yet charming and works beautifully to allow your wedding day to flow, with great space both indoors and stunning outdoor areas too.
The Perfect Wedding Venue
Hazlewood Castle itself is a stunning building with the great hall a fabulous setting for your wedding breakfast. You then have a gorgeous courtyard area with water features for a relaxing reception area and large grounds to explore. As a photographer this venue has got it all with some many opportunities at different locations around the vast grounds.
If you were keen to have a church wedding there is also it’s own chapel, with local vicar Father Ian happy to accommodate any religious aspect you would like from your day. There is also the option of two wedding ceremony rooms in the Castle itself, therefore it gives you so many options for how to plan your day making sure you can have the perfect day the way you wanted it.
